Tulsi Vivah 2021: Significance, Rituals, Date, And Time


 

Tulsi Vivah is a ceremonial myth and serious marriage of the Holy Basil (Tulsi) plant to Lord Wisnu (in the form of ‘Shaligram’). According to the Hindu calendar, this opportunity was observed in the Hindu Moon Kartik on ‘Shukla Paksha’ (Fortnight Bright). Tulsi Vivah is celebrated in Dwadashi (the twelfth day) from Shukla Paksha. This festival falls in October or November.

Although Tulsi Vivah can be celebrated at any time between ‘Prabodhini Ekadashi’ or ‘Dev Uthni Ekadashi’, which is the eleventh day, to ‘Kartik Poornima’, most celebrated in Dwadashi (the twelfth day) from Shukla Paksha during the Kartik month.
