Tulsi Vivah is a ceremonial myth and serious marriage of the Holy Basil (Tulsi) plant to Lord Wisnu (in the form of ‘Shaligram’). According to the Hindu calendar, this opportunity was observed in the Hindu Moon Kartik on ‘Shukla Paksha’ (Fortnight Bright). Tulsi Vivah is celebrated in Dwadashi (the twelfth day) from Shukla Paksha. This festival falls in October or November.
